PROVO, Utah – Freshman Kristian Bressum finished 1-under par at the Ping Cougar Classic hosted by BYU, shooting a 215 over the three rounds on the par 72 course at Riverside Country Club.
 
Dylan VanderVeer finished with a 218 over the two days, led the Gaels in pars made at 33, and finished even on par fours. Jonathan Curran had the second-best score of any golfer in round three with a 67 in the final round to finish with a 225 for the tournament.
 
Michael Slesinski finished 2-under par on day three and shot a 222 overall. Bressum finished 2-under on par fives and led the Gaels with 13 birdies.
 
The Gaels as a team finished 11th of 13 teams.

The Gaels will play in the WCC Tournament at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nev. April 28-30.
