MORAGA, Calif. - Isabella Banuelos has won her first Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week Award for the week of September 18 after recording two shutouts this past week. 
 
Banuelos has had three starts as a Gael coming against San Jose State, Sacramento State, and UC Santa Barbara, where she played all 90 minutes and recorded a clean sheet each time. Over those three games she's had a total of five saves, including three saves in the two shutouts this week.  
 
The sophomore tied her career-high in saves with two in the Gaels dominant 4-0 win against Sacramento State on Thursday.
 
This past Sunday, Banuelos shutout UC Santa Barbara, keeping Gauchos off the scoreboard making one official save and thwarting other potential scoring opportunities.
