LIHU'E, KAUA'I, Hawaii - In the scenic backdrop of Kauaʻi's Ocean Course at Hōkūala, the Gaels are gearing up for the 47th John A. Burns Intercollegiate, where the captivating beauty of the course meets the competitive spirit of collegiate golf.
Home to the longest continuous stretch of oceanfront holes in Hawai'i, the Ocean Course at Hōkūala has earned its place as one of the world's most beautiful golf courses. Nestled in Timbers Kaua'i Ocean Club & Residences, the 7,156-yard, par-72 course offers unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Kalapaki Bay, and the Hā'upu Mountain Range, promising an incredible backdrop for the tournament. The Ocean Course's undulating fairways and strategic hazards will test the skills of each participant, adding an extra layer of excitement.
THE FIELD
As the Gaels take to this challenging layout, they will face stiff competition from a field of twenty teams, including powerhouses, including: BYU, California, USC, Texas A&M, Arkansas Little Rock, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Southern Georgia, Hawaii, New Mexico, UC Santa Barbara, UNLV, Utah, UTEP, Washington State, San Diego State, San Francisco, Arizona, and Long Beach State.
THE LINEUP
Saint Mary's is led by

James Watney. The three day tournament will take place on February 15-17 with an 8:30 am shotgun start each day.
