Molly Dreher Wins SMC First Ever MPSF Student Athlete Of The Week

SEATTLE, Wash. - Molly Dreher of the Track and Field team has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Student Athlete of the Week.
This is the Gaels first award from the MPSF after joining the league this season.
Dreher competed in her very first indoor meet this past weekend where she ran the first leg of the winning distance medley relay team. The team is currently nationally ranked at No.33 with a time of 11:47.89, 20.03 seconds faster than their next closest competitor this past weekend in Spokane. This was a new program record for the Gaels.
The senior set a new PR in the mile as well with a time of 4:55.61. She holds the fourth fastest mile overall in program history and is the second fastest woman to have run this event for Saint Mary's.
