ROW | Gaels Head To Spokane For The Gonzaga Dual

MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Rowing team will be competing in the Gonzaga Dual this weekend in Spokane Washington as they take on last season's conference champions.
This is the teams first time in Spokane in a few years and an important benchmark for the team to gauge their speed as they try to track improvement.

The Gaels went head-to-head against the University of California, coming close on all three boats that competed, ending each piece with contact. Saint Mary's fell short to the Bears 5V 8+ boat.
To summarize, Head Coach Brian Ebke mentioned that going against Cal brought out an extra gear of competitiveness that was needed in the middle of their season. Overall, Ebke said it was a fun day of racing for the Gaels.
