ROW | Gaels Final Stretch to WCC Championships

LAKE NATOMA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Rowing team is in their home stretch as they compete in the WCC Championships this Saturday.
Over the past three weeks the Gaels have been improving and are ready for their best race of the year.

At the WIRAs, the Varsity Pairs secured second and third place finishes, followed by another accomplishment for the Gaels as the Novice 4+ boat featuring all freshmen clocked in under eight minutes, finishing in second place.
SMC's 1v8+ boat finished in fifth place in front of Portland, Seattle University, and Santa Clara with a time of 6:59.90. The Gaels Second Varsity 8+ boat clocked in at 7:15.46 taking fifth place, 25.78 seconds faster than Seattle University.
