TEMPE, Ariz. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team stood out this past season both on and off the court as the Gaels were named an All-Academic Team once again, followed by six student-athletes named ITA Scholar-Athletes. 
 
In order to be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the program must meet the following requirements:

1. Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
2. All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
3. All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year

In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

1. Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
2. Be listed on the institutional eligibility form

 
The six Gaels who were named to the ITA Scholar-Athlete award are:

1. Juliette Daries
2. Madison Weekley
3. Sofia Daryaie
4. Stefanie Silva
5. Tian Yu Dong
6. Jamie Pope

 
Saint Mary's Women's Tennis will continue to put in the work as they look to start their fall season shortly.
