MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's men's golf team kicks off their 2025 spring season at the annual National Invitational Tournament in Tucson hosted by the University of Arizona. The Gaels have competed in the coveted event for six straight years dating back to 2019 and will be entering the three-round event in good form after recording three top-five finishes from their fall campaign. Head coach
Scott Hardy and his group have not placed inside the top-five of the NIT since 2019 and finished outside the top-10 last year in 2024.
"We have spent a lot of time getting ready for the spring season in hopes of getting off to a strong start in Tucson", said Hardy. "We are in a great position to make a run at achieving our team goals for the season including an NCAA regional appearance. We will focus on playing well one event at a time and being our personal best each and every week. If we can do that everything else will take care of itself and help prepare us for the postseason" (Hardy).
