BVB | Gaels Grab Second Commitment for Incoming Class of 2026, Add Payton Durante

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's Beach Volleyball has added another to their incoming class of 2026, as Payton Durante has signed on to join the Gaels next season. Originally from Yorba Linda in Southern California, Durante prepped at El Dorado High School where she enjoyed both a stellar indoor and beach volleyball career, and now brings her winning pedigree north to Moraga.
An All-CIF player at the opposite on the hardwood in her first two years at El Dorado, Durante switched her focus to beach volleyball for the Golden Hawks inaugural season last year. There, she captained the team, and led them to a second place league finish and a trip to the CIF Southern Section DII Playoffs. Heading into her final season for El Dorado, she will look to help her squad to their first league title and beyond before heading to Saint Mary's in the Fall.
A three-time conference scholar athlete, Durante plans to study business at Saint Mary's. She joins Natalie Wulferdingen as members of Coach Janice Harrer's fourth recruiting class in Moraga.
