BVB | Dynamic Duo of Hannah Glick and Barett Nolan Honored with AVCA Top Flight Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Death, taxes and Hannah Glick and Barett Nolan winning at the fives…three certainties in life, at least during the 2026 Saint Mary's Beach Volleyball season. The duo put up a historic season for the Gaels, going 20-5 at the fives, helping the team to a program record 26 wins. As such the pair have been honored with an AVCA Top Flight Award.
The Top Flight program, now in its eighth year, recognizes beach pairs who compete in at least 15 matches together at a specific flight and win at least 75% of their matches. This year, 80 pairs representing 35 schools—from all three NCAA divisions, NAIA, and Two-Year Colleges—have earned Top Flight status. Glick and Nolan are one of just three WCC pairs to earn this recognition, and one of just 17 five-flight pairs to be honored.
