MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's had two top-ten finishers at the WCC Men's Golf Championships and as a result earned two Honorable Mention selections in sophomore Avery Lazarski and senior Connor Reis. Both golfers finished t-7th at nine-under-par this past weekend, Lazarski earning his first career All-WCC selection and Reis his second consecutive selection. 

The Gaels placed tied for fourth in the WCC Men's Golf Championships to end their 2025 spring campaign. They finished the year with eight top-five finishes including a string of second place finishes leading up to the conference championships. Saint Mary's matched last year's total with two all-conference selections. 

So. | Avery Lazarski | All-WCC Honorable Mention

Avery Lazarski came on nicely towards the end of the season placing inside the top-20 individually in his final three events. He capped the year off with his best performance of the season at the conference championships, finishing in a tie for seventh place at nine-under. Lazarski posted the team's second lowest round of the tournament with a 65 (-7) on the final day to catapult himself into the top-ten. He put together a clean card with five birdies and an eagle on the par five first. 

Sr. | Connor Reis | All-WCC Honorable Mention

Connor Reis was one of the team's most consistent golfers all year long, recording a 71.5 scoring average for second lowest on the team. Reis had three top-ten finishes including two in his final three events of the spring season. Reis sat atop the individual leaderboard after day one of the WCC Championships at 11-under. He posted the team's lowest round of the tournament with a 64 (-8) in the second round on Friday but fell to seventh after a two-over third round on Saturday. This was Reis' second all-conference selection after being named to the All-WCC First Team in 2024.
