NORMAN, Okla. - Aidan Lee added to his trophy case this past season with his second consecutive Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar award for his success on the links and in the classroom. Lee was the lone representative for Saint Mary's after completing a successful junior campaign that featured 13 events and a 71.5 scoring average. 

Lee was a staple in the team's starting five all season long and also earned the team's only individual victory of the year after winning the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational with a score of 13-under-par over his three rounds. Lee has gotten better and better over his three years as a Gael, shaving nearly three strokes off of his season scoring average from his freshman campaign. Lee was also named to the Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar list along with teammate Mitchell Hoey last summer following the 2023-24 season.   

Lee finished the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.34 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.  

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. 

In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university. 556 NCAA Division I athletes from 190 schools earned 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors.
