MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's will head to Michigan to compete in the Island Resort Intercollegiate for the third straight year to kickoff their 2025-26 campaign. The Gaels return seven golfers from a season ago and will have three in their starting lineup this week. 

Live scoring for the three-round event can be found HERE or at scoreboard.clippd.com. The field will tee off at 7:30 AM CT, with two rounds on Sunday and the final 18 holes on Monday.

Saint Mary's missed out on the match play portion of the 2025 WCC Golf Championships, losing to Pacific in a playoff hole to end their season. The Gaels had an eight-stroke cushion going into the third round and still put together a 282 (-6) but Pacific was one of a handful of teams to go low as they put together a 17-under third round to force a playoff and ultimately take the fourth and final spot. 

Despite the bitter finish, Saint Mary's returns a veteran squad with key names like Aidan Lee, Avery Lazarski and senior Mitchell Hoey who took a redshirt last season. They will certainly be hungry for a good finish and quality start to the season in Michigan with the first round teeing off at 7:30 AM CT.
