WWP | Gaels Welcome Goalkeeper Duru Ilter to Women’s Water Polo Program

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's Women's Water Polo continues to add to their roster as they welcome goalkeeper Duru Ilter to the program.
A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Ilter competed for Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray Sports Club. She was named the Best Goalkeeper at the U17 and U19 ranks while competing for her club. Ilter also represented her home nation of Turkey on the international level from the under-15 level through the Senior National Team level.
With her international experience and success, Ilter will set the tone for the Gaels' goalkeeper unit heading into the program's debut season.
