BSB | Saint Mary’s Baseball to Debut New Stadium Lights Friday against Pepperdine

MORAGA, Calif. - The time has finally come as the Saint Mary's baseball program will debut its newly installed stadium lights this Friday in the Gaels' West Coast Conference series opener against Pepperdine. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and tickets are now officially on sale and can be purchased HERE.
Game times for the remainder of the 2026 season will be officially updated with the use of the stadium lights. The updated 2026 schedule can be found HERE or at smcgaels.com.

"Friday night will go down as one of the most celebrated nights in our program's history", said Gaels head coach Eric Valenzuela. "I want to thank all of the people behind the scenes who have helped make this possible from our administration, to our donors and alumni and all of the construction workers and campus partners involved in this project. We're so excited for the next chapter of Saint Mary's baseball and what the future has in store and we can't wait to see everyone Friday night" (Valenzuela).

"I could not be more excited for the debut of the stadium lights at our baseball facility and I'd like to thank all parties involved in this process including campus facilities, our athletics administration, our amazing donors and alumni and especially the town of Moraga. Friday will be a historic night and it's only the beginning" (Matoso).
