MERCER ISLAND, Wash. - Graduated senior Odhi Vasquez was ranked No. 69 in Softball America's Top 100 Players of 2026 ranking, the organization announced on Monday morning.
Vasquez was one of just two West Coast Conference players to make the list, joining second baseman Jaeya Butler from Oregon State. Vasquez concluded her SMC career in style this past month, earning a pair of wins in the NCAA Eugene Regional where Saint Mary's recorded its first two postseason victories in wins over Idaho State and regional host Oregon. Her two wins in Eugene brought her 2026 total to 21 wins, tying the program single-season record set by Jenn Pick back in 2000.
Vasquez finished the season with a program record-breaking seven saves and also recorded 151 strikeouts for the second most in a single season in program history. The Upland native was named All-WCC First Team for the second consecutive season and was also named the WCC Pitcher of the Year for the second time in three years, ending her collegiate career as one of the most decorated pitchers in Saint Mary's history.
Vasquez recently signed a professional contract with Bravas de Cidra out of Liga Premier de Softbol Femenino to start her professional career. She's made two starts for the Bravas as their season will run through the end of July. The complete Softball America Top 100 list can be found HERE.
