MORAGA, Calif. — The future of the Saint Mary's women's water polo team continues to take shape as the Gaels welcome the newest addition, transfer goalkeeper Keira Bozek.
Bozek joins the Gaels' roster following a successful career serving as the primary goalkeeper at Mt. San Antonio College. During her sophomore year, Bozek appeared in 20 games and started in 16 of those, while recording 83 saves throughout the season to rank ninth overall in the South Coast Conference.
Prior to beginning her collegiate career, Bozek had a standout career at Upland High School where she competed on varsity girls water polo for three years. Following both the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Bozek earned Honorable Mention recognition in the Baseline League, while also receiving CIF Third-Team honors in 2023.
Bozek looks to bring her proven success to the Gaels during the first season in program history and joins teammates Duru Ilter, Brooke Boyer, and Emily Marshall, who will lead the team in the cage.
