After three seasons playing for the University of Arizona, Taut Tubelis joined Coach Bennett's staff as a Graduate Assistant ahead of the 2024-25 season. Tubelis played in 24 games in his time in Tucson under Coaches Sean Miller and Tommy Lloyd.Â
Hailing from Vilnius, Lithuania, Taut played for Rytas Vilnius as a youth, sharing the same hometown and youth club as former Gael point guard Augustas Marciulionis. His twin brother, Azuolas, was a consensus All-American for the Arizona Wildcats in 2023, and was named the Lithuanian Basketball League MVP in 2024.Â
Taut graduated from the University of Arizona in 2024 with a degree in communications. He is currently pursuing his master's degree at Saint Mary's.Â
