Brittany Holden earns the Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week award after helping the Gaels to a 2-0 win over USF this past Saturday. This is Holden's first time earning the award and her first goal wearing a Saint Mary’s jersey.
Holden scored her first collegiate goal in 2023 with UTSA before transferring to Saint Mary's this season but recorded her first goal as a Gael in the 71st minute. Sydney Middaugh chased down the Dons center back and picked her pocket. This allowed Middaugh to cut into the box and play a cutback pass to Holden who rifled the ball into the back of the net to give the Gaels a 1-0 lead.
