James Watt took home the top spot in the A Flight Singles Bracket at the UCSB Classic this past weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif. making him a unanimous choice for the Bay Alarm Student Athlete of the Week. After his 6-3, 6-4 victory over Phillip Jordan of the Gauchos in the quarterfinals, Watt defeated back-to-back players from Pepperdine University taking out Corrado Summaria 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 in the semifinal and Enrique Luque 4-6, 7-7, 6-4 in the finals.
