Softball Team Wins Three of Five Games at Pioneer Classic

Hayward, CA -- The Saint Mary's College softball team won three games and lost two in the Pioneer Classic Softball Tournament, hosted by Cal State Hayward.
On Friday the Gaels won both their games, defeating Oregon Tech 6-0 and Central Washington 13-7. On Saturday Saint Mary's won its first game over San Francisco State 10-1 before losing to Cal State Stanislaus 5-4 and Cal State Hayward 2-0.
The Gaels are now 15-19 on the season and will resume action on April 1 when they travel to Santa Clara for a double header at noon.
