
Women's Rowing Coach Rich Wendling Resigns

Moraga, CA - Saint Mary's College head women's rowing coach Rich Wendling announced his resignation, effective May 22. Wendling served a five-year stint with as Gaels' head rowing coach that concluded with a fifth place West Coast Conference finish in 2002.
During his time as the head coach at Saint Mary's, Wendling placed five members of his team's on the All-WCC First Team. Included in that list was Sabrina Linden who also garnered First Team All-American status by US Rowing and the College Rowing Coaches Association in 2001. Linden is also the ergometer world record holder for 2000 meters. A search to replace Wendlinig will begin immediately.
