
Women's Tennis Wins in Wednesday Matinee

Moraga, CA - The Saint Mary's women's tennis team won today's match against North Texas by a score of 5-0. The Gaels had not played for over a week before returning to competition earlier today. The Gaels showed no signs of rust in today's match as they won all five matches in straight sets.
The match went straight to singles and only featured five matches. Marah Calvo won her match 6-2, 6-2. The transfer improved to 12-0 in singles this season and has has won 24 of 25 total sets on the season.
Feline Charlot won her match 6-0, 6-1. Femke Strijbis followed suit, winning her match 6-1, 6-0. Stef Ordoveza finished next for the Gaels. She won her match 6-3, 6-2. Ordoveza has won seven of her last nine singles matches. Senior Aude Lambert finished today's competition. She won her match 6-2, 7-6. The Reigning WCC Player of the Month won her 11th match of the season with today's victory.
The Gaels return to action this Friday when the face WCC opponent Portland. The match is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. from the Korth Tennis Complex.
