As a senior (2008-09): Appeared in all but three games, posting double figures in minutes 10 times...scored a season-high 10 points against Fresno State, going 3-for-3 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line... shot 45.2 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc...pulled down multiple rebounds in 17 games...averaged 4.9 rebounds per game in his final five games of the season, when he averaged 13.6 minutes per game...had a season-best seven rebounds in SMC's second round NIT game against Davidson...finished his senior season averaging 1.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
As a junior (2007-08): Appeared in all 32 games...in 14 minutes, he pulled down a career-high eight rebounds and two blocks against Tulane in the Rainbow Classic...matched his career-high with eight rebounds against then No. 14 ranked Texas...scored in double figures three times...posted a career-best 15 point against San Francisco on Feb. 8...posted a career-best four blocked shots against No. 24 Gonzaga on Mar. 1...had eight points in the opener against Sonoma State and six points against CS Bakersfield...was 2-for-3 from 3-point range in both games... shot 42.7 percent overall from the field and 42.5 percent from three point range on the season.
As a sophomore (2006-07): Saw limited action in his first season with the Gaels...played in 26 games with four starts and averaged 7.0 minutes per games...started the final four games of the season and averaged 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in just over 10 minutes per game during those four contests...averaged 1.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game for the season...shot 47.4 percent from the field making 18-of-38 shots overall...was just 1-for-9 from 3-point land...played a career-high 19 minutes and had a career-high 11 points at Saint Joseph's for his only double-digit scoring output of the season...had a career-high six rebounds against CS Monterey Bay on Nov. 15...also had five rebounds against San Jose State and four rebounds against Connecticut...finished the year with seven blocks, six steals, and four assists.
Junior College: Came to Saint Mary's from Hartnell College...did not play during the 2005-06 season...was a Second Team All-Coast Conference South selection...averaged 13.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.1 blocks per game as a freshman...pulled down a total of 230 rebounds in 25 games to lead the Coast Conference South in rebounds...had 103 offensive rebounds, averaging 4.12 offensive boards per game...led the CCS with 105 blocked shots...finished 10th in the CCS with a .505 (106-210) field goal percentage...shot 60 percent from the free throw line...had a career-high of 24 points.
High School: Finished his high school career at Monterey High School...he did not compete his senior year after moving from New York in 2001...did not play basketball at Manhattan High School as a junior.
Personal: Born in Harlem, NY on August 14, 1985...mother is Abella Smith...has three sisters named Samila, Kemi and Abigail, and has a brother named Ibrahim...is majoring in Communications.
