Lauren Uhr will enter her ninth season as head coach at Saint Mary's in 2015.
Uhr joined Saint Mary's after serving as head women's lacrosse coach at Claremont McKenna College from 2003-06. In her seven years in Moraga, she has a 21-87 record, bringing her career record to 55-100. Under Uhr's leadership at Claremont McKenna, her team went 34-13 in three seasons.
She has coached the Southwest Pacific Regional Team over that time and was a member of the Regional National Team from 2004-06. Prior to coaching at Claremont McKenna, Uhr was the assistant women's lacrosse and soccer coach at Limestone College in South Carolina.
Along with coaching at SMC, Uhr has been and will continue to be the Selection Chair for the Regional National Tournament team that competes at Women's Division National Tournament (WDNT), the Pacific Region in 2007 and the SoCal (05-06). She coaches the America International Sports Tours (AIST) women's team which travels and competes in the Prague Cup in the Czech Republic. While at Claremont, she served on the Regional Advisory Comittee and the Regional All-American Committee.
Uhr received her bachelor's degree in Marketing and Information Systems from Fairfield University. While at Fairfield, Uhr was a member of the Division I lacrosse team and received several awards, including Regional All-American, Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors.
