As a redshirt freshman (2010-11): Missed the first half of the season after having surgery to his left wrist in November 2010 to repair ligament damage ... played in four total games during the season ... saw first action of the season late in the game at San Diego ... also played late in the Sears BracketBusters game against No. 25 Utah State and at home against Portland ... saw two minutes against Gonzaga in the WCC Championshps in Las Vegas ... underwent appendectomy prior to regular-season finale against Weber State.
As a freshman (2009-10): Appeared in one game, scoring six points against New Mexico State ... in that game he was 2-for-2 from 3-point land and had one rebound ... tore his right hamstring in practice following the first game, and missed the remainder of the season ... was granted a medical redshirt to regain the year of eligibility.
High School: Was a two-time All-West Catholic Athletic League selection for Valley Christian High School...garnered First Team All-WCAL honors his senior year, when he led the league in scoring, averaging 18.4 points per game...finished fourth in the league with 6.6 rebounds per game and shot 51.6 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from 3-point land...was a McDonald's All-American nominee in 2009 and was named the Mercury News Player of the Week once...as a junior he averaged 16.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game, and was an Honorable Mention All-WCAL
Personal: Is the son of Dr. Donna Harris, Ed. D. and Rick Harris ... has three sisters named Myisha, Lindsay, and Jaime and his brother Richard played basketball at Whitman College in Washington ... cousin Cameron Marshall is a running back for the Arizona State football team...plans to major in Business Administration.
