
Stephen Nichols Bio

Stephen Nichols begins his second year as a volunteer assistant coach for Saint Mary's in 2016. He assists with on field individual training, equipment ordering and camp operations. Nichols is a 2011 graduate of Cal State East Bay with a degree in Kinesiology.
Nichols brings a wealth of playing experience, having played at Cal State East Bay and Colorado State Pueblo. He also played for Diablo FC in the NorCal Premier U23 League and played for Travis Clarke at Atascadero HS.
He currenly coaches club soccer for Mountain View Los Altos Soccer Club. He began coaching soccer at the age of 17 at Madrid Premier Soccer Club where he worked with Clarke.
Nichols has also been the Los Altos HS Girls Varsity Head Coach (2014-15) and at San Ramon Valley HS (Head Girls JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach 2008-14). San Ramon Valley was a 2009 and 2013 CIF NCS Champion.
Nichols currently holds a USSF National ‘B' Coaching License.
