MORAGA, Calif. The Gaels return home on Saturday after a two-game road trip to take on the No. 13-ranked Cal Bears at 2 p.m. for their final home game until January 10.

SCOUTING REPORT
Saint Mary's is 5-2 after posting strong numbers during their quick road trip as they picked up wins against both UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly. After their victories last week, the Gaels are now ranked 57th in the NCAA RPI poll with only two conference opponents, Pacific (46th) and Gonzaga (19th), ranking above them. The team is currently leading the conference in field goal percentage (.472) and is ranked 19th nationally.

Sophomore Madeline Holland stepped up big for Saint Mary's last week as she collected her first double-double of the season in the game against Cal Poly. Holland recorded 13 points and 10 assists, as well as five rebounds and a steal during 28 minutes of play. She also played well against UCSB earlier in the week when she scored eight points, grabbed three rebounds, and made three assists. For her efforts, she was awarded the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week.

Junior Jasmine Forcadilla continues to be a key piece of the Gaels' offense after recording season-highs in points and three pointers during the contest against Cal Poly. She collected 13 points which was second most on the team, and three three-pointers which contributed to the Gaels' season-high, 15 during the matchup.

CALIFORNIA
The No. 13 Cal Bears are a perfect, 7-0 this season and are coming off of a 67-42 win over the CSUN Matadors. The Bears have won five of their seven games by a margin of 12 or more points with their largest win being a 25-point margin against CSUN.

Cal is ranked 26th in the nation and sixth in the Pac-12 in field goal percentage (46.5) while also being ranked 46th in the NCAA and fourth in their conference in rebounds per game (43). Kristine Anigwe leads all of the Pac-12 with a 60.6 shooting percentage and is ranked fifth in the country in rebounds per game (13.6).

Anigwe leads the Bears in multiple categories, including: points per game (24.3), rebounds (95), steals (7) and blocks (11). Kianna Smith has the most 3-pointers on the team (11), but Anigwe has recorded the highest 3-point percentage on the team (50.0) thus far.

GAMEDAY PROMOTION
The game on Saturday will include a campers reunion for the players who participated in the Gaels' basketball camps this summer.
