LOS ANGELES - Saint Mary's women's tennis (8-6, 2-1 WCC) saw its four-match win streak come to an end Wednesday afternoon, as the Gaels dropped a 4-0 decision at Loyola Marymount (9-4, 1-1 WCC) at the LMU Tennis Center.

SMC returns to action tomorrow at No. 5 Pepperdine. First serve versus the Waves is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PDT. Live video and scores can be found HERE.

The Lions came out strong, claiming the doubles point with victories on courts 2 and 3. Facing the 28th-ranked doubles team in the nation, No. 39 Hind Abdelouahid and Mariia Kozyreva went game for game to an unfinished 4-4 match.

Kozyreva went unfinished in her singles match versus No. 35 Miroshnichenko. Kozyreva dropped a close opening set, 7-5.

After losing the opening set, Kareena Manji took set two in her unfinished singles match on court 4. The senior claimed the second set 6-3, and is still 6-2 during the spring season on court 4.

Emma Critser also went unfinished as the senior battled in a tight match. Critser lost the opening set tie-breaker, but was ahead 3-2 in the second set.
