Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18): All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention in singles...All-WCC Second Team in doubles... went 8-7 in singles matches on court No. 2... went 3-3 in conference matches... clinched win over Gonzaga on Senior Day in three-set match... defeated opponents at San Diego and versus San Francisco... nationally-ranked No. 37 in ITA/Oracle Doubles Team rankings with Mariia Kozyreva... went 10-7 in doubles matches together... defeated No. 29 ranked Gonzaga pair in tiebreaker... reached as high as No. 35 ranking in doubles.

Prior to Saint Mary's: An accomplished doubles player, Abdelouahid won two Nor Cal 18's sectional titles. Competing against the top junior tennis players in the country, Abdelouahid claimed the title of the USTA National Selection doubles competition... A 6-foot graduate of Valley Christian Academy (Roseville, Calif.), Abdelouahid was a consistent competitor in international action... Competing in doubles tournaments in Canada, Abdelouahid continued to impress with her victory in the ITF grade 5 doubles at the Canadian Saville... She advanced to the semifinals of the ITF grade 2 doubles tournament at the 2016 Canadian U-18 World Ranking Event, and the grade 3 doubles competition at the Silex Canada Junior Vancouver Championships.

Traveling to countries like Morocco and Tunisia, Abdelouahid reached the quarterfinals in four doubles competitions and one singles tournament... The incoming freshman reached a career high doubles ranking of 1227 in the world.... Abdelouahid was heavily recruited from programs like Colorado, Pacific, UC Santa Barbara, Michigan State, Howard and Northern Arizona, but ultimately elected to become a Gael.
