Saint Mary's concludes the Arizona Medalist Tournament on Tuesday as Evan Peterson finishes in the top half of the field.
TUCSON, Ariz. — Saint Mary's concluded the Arizona Medalist on Tuesday as Evan Peterson placed in the top half of the field to complete the tournament.
THE LEADERBOARD
To lead the Gaels, Peterson finished off the third round in 17th place with a 1-under par score. The redshirt junior also scored three birdies, two of which were on the back nine. Dylan VanderVeer completed the tournament in t-28th with a combined score of 4-over and also scored a birdie at the third hole. Jeffrey Inouye-Wong had three birdies during the third round and placed t-31st after shooting 6-over.
Arizona State James Leow and Jino Sohn both completed the tournament in tied for first place as they finished 13-under. Leow finished the third round at 6-under while Sohn finished with a 4-under score. The Sun Devils also had two other players finish in the top-5 with scores of 7-under and 10-under.
