MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's (0-2) will play two matches this week, including their home opener on Thursday. The Gaels return to Moraga after a two-game trek to North Dakota last week.
The Gaels play host to Green Bay on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. before squaring up against Oregon State on the road on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Both matches will be streamed with the former on the WCC Network and the latter on the Pac-12 Network. Links to live stats can also be found on the team's schedule page.
Saint Mary's will look to capitalize on their scoring opportunities this week after strong showings from their offense over the weekend. Despite taking 40 shots through their first two games, SMC has scored only once, courtesy of senior Jaylen Crim.
ABOUT GREEN BAY
The Phoenix are off to a 2-0 start this year and have posted both wins on the road. Green Bay defeated Valparaiso in their opener before defeating Chicago State 2-0 on Sunday. The team has yet to cede a goal this year.
Junior Caitlin Hawley has scored in both games this year for the Phoenix and leads the team with seven shots. McKayla Kertscher is second on the team in points after picking up assists on both goals during GB's win over Chicago State.
After their match against Saint Mary's, Green Bay will head to Davis to play the Aggies. The Gaels and Phoenix have met only once before which resulted in a 3-0 win for SMC in Green Bay in 2015.
