The senior will get the Gaels' season started this weekend at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort.

MORAGA, Calif. — Gaels' senior Damon Kesaris will compete at the Audi Napa Valley Tennis Classic this weekend in St. Helena, Calif. at Meadowood Napa Valley Resort. The three-day event is hosted by Cal.

Kesaris was Saint Mary's top singles player last season with a 7-6 record in the No. 1 slot. Prior to the 2018-19 campaign, he was voted to the All-WCC Preseason Team after earning First Team honors as both a freshman and sophomore.

The tournament is in its 18th season and will host 32 players: 24 college student-athletes and eight juniors. The competitors are broken into eight groups of four and will engage in round robin play with winners from each group then heading to a eight-man tiebreaker shootout.

All matches played between college players will count for ITA Rankings and future NCAA selection.
