FINAL NUMBERS FOR FINAU
Wednesday afternoon was a career-day forÂ
Finau Tonga on all fronts, as the redshirt-freshman was a force in the paint. Not only did she grab a career-best 12 rebounds, but she nearly doubled that output in points, scoring 23 on 9-12 from the field for her first collegiate double-double. Most of her damage was done in the first three quarters, where she put up all 23 of her points and ten of her rebounds. Despite the quiet fourth quarter, Tonga was instrumental in keeping the Gaels right there with UC Irvine early.

ABOUT NEVADA
The Wolf Pack will have a different look and feel to it this season with just six returners and 10 newcomers joining the program in the offseason. Of the six returners, senior Nia Alexander and Alyssa Jimenez each started in at least 28 games, with Jimenez starting in 30. Alexander leads all returners having averaged 5.5 rebounds per game in 2019-20, while Jimenez's 40 steals in her rookie season lead all returners. To begin the season, Nevada is 4-0, with wins against NAIA William Jessup and DII Fresno Pacific, with a DH sweep of Sacramento State. Their most recent win was the contest against Fresno Pacific on Friday, a narrow 71-67 victory.
