PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Day two of the Saint Mary's Invitational was Kristian Bressum's turn to own the day, as he finished 2-under with a 69 in round two for a tie at eighth overall.
 
Jonathan Curran also shot up the leaderboard into the top 25 of 92 golfers by finishing 1-over par in round two.
 
The Gaels as a team climbed one spot in the standings as well, just behind conference rivals LMU and Santa Clara. SMC is also second in par fours made, fifth in total pars, and second in birdies with 37.
 
Curran is even on par threes which has him ninth overall in that stat. Zack Missigman is fourth in par fours made, while Connor Reis is fourth in par fives made. The two of them are 14th and 15th respectively in total pars made as well.
 
Mitchell Hoey, Ethan Ashbrook, Reis, and Bressum are all tied for third in birdies made with nine.
