BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Today's baseball game with CSU Bakersfield has been postponed to a later date due to the field conditions.
Rain was predicted in the Bakersfield area for the originally scheduled date of Tuesday, February 22, so the game was pushed back to Wednesday to avoid playing in the inclement weather that did hit on Tuesday. Unfortunately the field conditions were not fit for playing on Wednesday, so the programs will seek to reschedule the contests for later in the season.
The Gaels will play four games in three days this weekend at Louis Guisto Field against Northern Colorado, with a double header on Friday.
