SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's Baseball Team had three players honored for the success on the field this season by being named to the 2022 All-WCC Teams.

Jack Snook, and
Dalton Mashore were each named to different All-WCC teams for their play in the 2022 season.

Santiago was named to the All-WCC Second Team after he led the Gaels in home runs this season while playing first and third base, and pitched 20 innings primarily out of the bullpen. He finished second in the WCC with 10 home runs, and had a .287 batting average and a .363 on-base percentage in his sophomore campaign. The Walnut Creek, Calif. native tied for the team lead in hits with 52, led the Gaels in RBI with 31, and had a .525 slugging percentage.
On the mound he made 15 late-game, high-leverage appearances and one start. The De La Salle High product struck out 20 batters in 20 innings to nine walks, opponents hit just .152 against him, and he finished with a 4.50 ERA. He was unscored upon in five straight outings and in seven of his last eight before making a start in his final appearance of the season, which included three no-hit innings.

Reliever
Jack Snook made All-WCC Honorable Mention after going 2-1 with a 3.54 ERA. He struck out 44 batters to just 13 walks over 40.2 innings in a team-leading 28 appearances, including one start. The Pleasanton, Calif. native had a stretch of being unscored upon in eight of 12 appearances from March 13 to April 16.

Outfielder
Dalton Mashore was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team after hitting .323 in WCC play to lead the Gaels and stole 22 bases in 27 attempts in his first year at Saint Mary's.

The son of former MLB player Damon Mashore and grandson of big leaguer Clyde Mashore hit .303 with runners on base in 2022, .324 with runners in scoring position, and .448 when leading off an inning. His eighth-inning, two-run double in the series finale against the USF helped seal the sweep against the Dons.
