BASE | Gaels Release Full 2024 Schedule

MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's Baseball has announced its full schedule for the 2024 season, with 53 games currently on the slate and potentially another series being added, including trips to play the Florida Gators and hosting Grand Canyon.
NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
The Gaels will start at home for their first seven games, playing Oakland University in a three-game set, and Utah Valley for four games to open the season. Oakland has reached the Horizon League final the past two season.
SMC will stay on the West Coast for their first road trip of the season, starting with a single game at UC Santa Barbara, who finished 35-20 overall and 18-12 in the Big West last season. They'll play four games at Seattle, come home for a single game against Mountain West Champion San Jose State, and then embark on the notable road trip of their non-conference slate to Gainesville, Fla.
From March 8-10, Saint Mary's will play a three-game set at the University of Florida. The Gators were national runners up to LSU last season, their third time finishing as runner up. They've appeared in 13 College World Series, were national champs in 2017, have appeared in three NCAA Championships, and have won 16 SEC titles in their history.
Mixed in with their WCC slate, SMC will host Air Force, who finished third in the Mountain West. They'll host Grand Canyon for four games in April, after the Lopes were regular-season champions in the Western Athletic Conference last year, host UC Davis, and play a home-and-away series with Cal.
WCC SCHEDULE
Saint Mary's will open West Coast Conference play taking on perennial powerhouse Gonzaga, who finished with the same conference record as the Gaels last season.
SMC will head south to take on LMU April 12-14 and return home to take on USF April 19-21. That's followed by three games at Santa Clara, hosting Pepperdine and Pacific, and finishing the season at Portland.
The WCC Tournament is set for May 22-25 at the Las Vegas Ballpark, home to the AAA-level Aviators.
