MALIBU, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis had a good showing in the doubles competition at Pepperdine on Saturday, but the No. 36 Waves would take the singles portion for a 4-1 win over the Gaels.
 
James Watt and Carlos Ramos Membrives started the match off with a 6-4 win and Mathis Moysan and Felipe Rincon won their match 7-5 and the Gaels were off to a great start against the nationally-ranked Waves. Though Diego Jarry and Caelan Pott's doubles match didn't need to finish, they were leading 6-5 at the time.
 
Pepperdine would sweep the singles competition however, bringing the Gaels to 2-3 in WCC play this season.
