CHANDLER, Ariz. – Connor Reis finished 2-under par on day one of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, good for 17th of 155 golfers.
Reis is 2-under on par fours and 1-under on par fives in a solid, steady day on the links for sophomore, making par on all but five holes with seven birdies.
The Gaels as a whole are 15th of 21 teams, are sixth among all teams at 10-over on par fours, and are eighth in birdies.
Kristian Bressum is tied for second among all golfers with 11 birdies and Aidan Lee made an eagle in round one on the 17th hole.
