ABOUT DARTMOUTH
Dartmouth last traveled to the Golden State in 2009. The Big Green's combined record in California, dating back to their first trip to the state in 1995, sits at 3-9-4. Dartmouth is 2-2 in its last two outings in the state.

Head Coach Bo Oshoniyi takes his team for its fourth straight season-opening road trip. The Big Green have opened their season in North Carolina, Washington, New York and now, California, since 2019.

Last season, Dartmouth opened the season with a pair of tilts against Niagara and Canisius. The Big Green went 1-0-1, knocking off Niagara with a late goal before ending their trip with a scoreless draw against Canisius. Returning goalkeeper Costi Christodoulou recorded 11 combined saves in a pair of clean sheet performances.

Dartmouth welcomes 20 returning student-athletes to The Woods, as an experienced core looks to lead the Big Green to an Ivy League Tournament berth. Sophomore Oskar Magnusson led all returners in points last season, recording five assists and seven points in his first season in Hanover.

Between the pipes, Dartmouth will be led by junior goalkeeper Costi Christodoulou. Last season, the South African led the Ivy League in save percentage (.772) and saves per game (4.07) throughout a successful sophomore campaign.

The Big Green introduce seven newcomers to the roster for the 2023 season. Six freshmen, Alexis Huneau, Vasilis Moiras, Douglas Arveskär, Trenton Blake, Cameron Brayne and Will Lulka, are joined by Aidan Curtis, a transfer forward from Amherst.

ABOUT FDU
FDU (previously known as Farleigh Dickinson) battled with Hofstra in their 2023 home opener with a 1-0 win over the Pride. The reigning NEC Champs improved to 2-0 on the season.

The first 45 minutes of action saw both teams excel in the defensive half. The programs combined for only five total shots in the half with the Knights tallying the only one on target.

In the 73' minute senior Tony Gomez gave the Knights a 1-0 lead. The Spaniard won the ball in the Hofstra half of the field and was able to beat goalie, Wessel Speel, with a strong left-footed finish into the bottom left corner of the net.

The Pride made a big push in the final 15 minutes but were stifled by the FDU defense led by junior Damian Naumoski and goalie Spencer King who picked up four second half saves.
