SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The 2025 West Coast Conference Men's Soccer All-Conference awards were announced Wednesday morning as Saint Mary's earned three selections with Sam Bentley and Bastian Toelhoej earning Honorable Mention status and redshirt freshman TJ Dilley being named to the All-Freshman team to round out the 2025 season.
#1 Sam Bentley | GK | So. | Honorable Mention
Sam Bentley completed year two between the posts for the Gaels and posted career numbers, finishing the 2025 season with 23 goals allowed, a 1.46 GAA, 54 saves and 1,419 minutes of action. His 54 saves ranked second most in the conference and included a career high nine saves in a wild 1-1 road draw against UC Davis. This goes down as his first all-conference selection of his career.
#6 Bastian Toelhoej | MF | Sr. | Honorable Mention
Bastian Toelhoej stood as the heart beat of the Saint Mary's men's soccer program as the fourth-year senior earned his second all-conference selection after being named to the all-freshman team in 2022. Toelhoej completed his SMC career in 2025, finishing with 64 games played, 63 starts, 10 goals, six assists and over 5,000 minutes of action.
This season, Toelhoej led the Gaels in scoring with five goals and was automatic from the penalty spot, finishing the season 3-for-3. He also recorded nine 90-minute matches on the year and was one of just two players to start all 16 matches on the season.
#3 TJ Dilley | D | R-Fr. | All-Freshman Team
Redshirt freshman TJ Dilley took a big step in his first collegiate action, starting in 15 games and playing in all 16 during the 2025 season as a part of the Gaels backline. Dilley got off to a hot start on both ends of the ball, scoring a pair of goals over his first two matches of the season against Cal and San Jose State. He then followed up the great start with an assist in his very next game in a 1-1 draw against 19th ranked Kansas City, recording five points over his first three games.
Dilley helped continue the program streak of 21 consecutive seasons with a Saint Mary's player being named to the All-Freshman team as current midfielder Cesar Batres was named to the team in 2024.
