SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Annually, the West Coast Conference recognizes student-athletes' success in the classroom with the unveiling of the All-Academic team. This year, Saint Mary's earned six total selections including a pair of First Team selections in TJ Dilley and Gaige Gibbs, their first career all-academic selections.
TJ Dilley has had quite the start to his Saint Mary's career, being named to the WCC All-Freshman team Wednesday morning and now earning a spot on the All-Academic team for his success in the classroom. On the field, Dilley finished with 16 games played and 15 starts as a consistent starter in the Gaels backline. He scored goals in back-to-back games to start the season and finished the year with 1,295 minutes of action. Dilley recorded an impressive 3.97 GPA as a Finance major in his second year at Saint Mary's.
Gaige Gibbs was the other All-Academic selection for the Gaels, closing out his career with 25 games played and over 800 minutes of action. In 2025, Gibbs played in a career high 13 games as a versatile piece in the Gaels defense and midfield. He earned five starts and finished with 402 minutes played. Gibbs was another standout in the classroom, graduating with a 3.98 GPA as a Kinesiology major.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the West Coast Conference selects an all-academic squad for each conference-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team and in at least their second year at their school.
All student-athletes who met the criteria but were not selected to the all-academic team garnered honorable mention honors.
