GOLF | Round Two Sees Gaels Climb in the Standings in Hawaii

LIHU'E, KAUA'I, Hawaii - The Saint Mary's Golf Team marked their Round two results at the John A Burns Intercollegiate Golf Tournament today at Hokuala in a challenging round of golf for the field that saw the Gaels move up on the leaderboard.

Mitchell Hoey led the charge for his team in the second round, posting a 71 at 1-under par, which put him tied for seventh-best second round of the 122-player field.

Kristian Bressum continued his strong play, finishing round two with a 72. He is tied for 15th overall at 2-under par. The Gaels as a whole climbed four spots in the standings as well to get up to 14th overall out of 20 teams.

Round three is slated to tee off at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
