Box Score LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Gaels finish off the weekend with a tough battle against Long Beach State, losing 4-1. 
 
Saint Mary's duo Tian Yu Dong and Juliette Daries finished first defeating Doga Akyurek and Hana Becirovic Novak 6-2. CSULB dominated in the next two double sets, defeating duo Iman Khan and Olivia Rook 6-4, and duo Sofia Daryaie and Stefanie Silva 7-5, to go up 1-0.
 
SMC started off the singles strong with Daryaie putting up the Gaels only point of the match taking down Paulina Franco Martinessi 6-4, 6-2. On court two, MiaAngelina Ruja fell short to Justine Dondonay 6-2, 6-3, giving CSULB a 2-1 lead. Long Beach State secured the next two points by defeating Saint Mary's Iman Khan 7-5, 6-4, and Stefanie Silva 6-2, 7-5. 
 
Daries was at match point going up against Long Beach State Medik when the singles point was clinched.
