MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team will be competing for the last time at home this season, taking on local WCC competitors USF on Saturday and Santa Clara on Sunday.

The Gaels took on San Diego where the Torero's swept SMC 4-0. SMC duo Iman Khan and Olivia Rook fell short 6-2 and duo Stefanie Silva and Sofia Daryaie fell to USD Kailey Evans and Mia Mack in the doubles.
San Diego secured the win starting off the singles taking down Daryaie 6-2, 6-0, followed by Rook 6-2, 6-1, and lastly Khan 6-2, 6-3.
ABOUT USF
After finishing in fifth place in conference, the Dons were selected fourth by the league's nine coaches ahead of the 2024 season. The University of San Francisco are currently tied for their longest losing streak of the season at six. The Dons began head to head play with two of their wins defeating the Academy of Art 6-1 and Dominican 6-0. USF earned their third win of the season against Fresno State 5-2.
ABOUT SANTA CLARA
Last season the Broncos struggled to get a win under their belt, where this year the team has been able to adjust and capture five wins this season so far. During the 2023-2024 season, Santa Clara's longest losing streak was five matches. The Broncos recently won against USF last Saturday 4-3 and will be going into the match against SMC with a win.
