Box Score SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Men's Tennis team took down No. 58 Santa Clara 4-3 after trailing in the singles.
The Broncos opened the match by winning on court one of the doubles, but the Gaels were able to shut them down with duo
Carlos Ramos Membrives and
Ellison Greco defeating Luca Lemaitre and Tiago Boschmans 6-4. The SMC duo
Mathis Moysan and
Thibaud Maxant secured the doubles point with a 7-5 win.
Opening up the singles,
Diego Jarry fell short 6-4, 6-4, Saint Mary's Membrives was taken down by Santa Clara's No. 103 Christian Lerby 6-3, 6-4, and Maxant was defeated by Lukas Maskow 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).
After a rocky patch, the Gaels put a point on the board with Moysan outlasting Sebastian Buxman 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. SMC
Paulo Hugo Etchecoin evened the score by taking down Alexander Eriksson 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Pierre Lieutaud secured the win for the Gaels by defeating Broncos Arjun Honnappa 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 7-5.
