WT&F | DeSouza Earns First Career MPSF Female Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. — Following her performance at the Silver and Blue Invitational, Jaden DeSouza has been named the MPSF Female Athlete of the Week. She is the second-ever winner of this award, joining Molly Dreher, who captured the honor in 2024.
DeSouza raced in the 800 meter dash at the Silver and Blue Invitational, crossing the finish line in 2:07.58. The graduate student placed first in the event, marking her second consecutive first place finish in the 800m this season. Hailing from Lihue, Hawaii, DeSouza broke the program's indoor 800m record and now ranks ninth in the country. Her time is the fastest in the MPSF so far this season.
