WT&F | Saint Mary’s Earns USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Women’s Track & Field All-Academic Team Status

NEW ORLEANS — As just announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the Saint Mary's Women's Track and Field program has been honored as an NCAA Division All-Academic Team. The Gaels are one of 244 Division I Women's Track and Field programs to earn this distinction, which signifies teams with at least a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 and a head coach who is an active member of the USTFCCCA.
As a team, Saint Mary's boasted a strong 3.44 GPA. Led by Head Coach Marty Kinsey in his 17th season at the helm, this year's squad was made up of nearly 2/3rds underclassmen, who all took major strides in their respective events while still maintaining a high standard in the classroom. In total, 28 Gaels of the 33 student-athlete roster maintained at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA through the Spring 2026 semester.
