

WT&F | Gaels Earn Multiple Personal Bests at Portland Twilight

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Saint Mary's women's track and field program traveled North to compete in the Portland Twilight on Saturday evening and recorded multiple personal bests and strong finishes across events.
In the 100 meters, Allie Davis-Libiano placed first overall while recording both a personal best time and the program's second-fastest time in 12.79 seconds. Freshman Terra Pandolfi (13.21) and Faviola Quintana (13.24, PR) were next in for the Gaels.
Senior Madison Dwyer took first place in the 400-meter with a personal best time of 58.10 seconds, while Davis-Libiano led the Gaels in the 200-meter, placing second overall with a time of 26.36 seconds. Pandolfi followed with a time of 27.17 seconds. Quintana earned her second personal best of the day, finishing in 27.86 seconds.
Jane Carney placed third overall in the 3000-meter steeplechase, recording a huge personal time of 11:38.67 and ranking as the fourth-fastest athlete in program history.
Freshman Courtney Fitzgibbon (17:31.07) and Zoe Leach (17:49.03) both recorded personal best times in the 5000 meters, while Jane Harig followed closely behind in 17:49.03.
The Gaels will look to build on this momentum in the final meet of the regular season on Saturday, May 16th at the West Coast Last Chance Meet in San Francisco.
